oooooooh it's so close...today is the last day of the 6-week summer school session, which means it is the last day of my dreadful horrible wickedly wretched english class. in a mere 5 hours, i'll be DONE. YES. i still have to learn some poetry since the final is all about shakespeare and john donne (he's a weird guy). but with the end so close, i'm too excited to care about having to study for one last exam. sigh....
with so much extra free time on my hand, i've gotten so much done the last two days that i've been neglecting to do since, like, january. my poor car finally has new oil, new windshield wipers, fluids, tires rotated and balanced, and it doesn't drift off to the left when i take my hands off of the wheel (which i would NEVER do, of course!). i even went to goodwill and dropped off all the stuff that's been in the trunk since october. imagine the gas i'll be saving by not dragging around 40 pounds of junk!
what made me get all of this stuff done in the last two days? maybe it was because i finally felt free enough to pay attention to things that aren't class-related. or maybe it was because after saving all year i realized i had money to spare for stuff like that. or maybe it's because on sunday i have to drive my dad back home from the beach (a 2.5 hour drive) and didn't want to listen to him tell me for the b-jillionth time that i needed to get my windshield fixed. yup, that was it.
off to study while drinking a fattening coffee frappe! it's really the only way to study.
