today's thrilling news!

gotcha! there's no thrilling news for today. there are some things to be thankful for, though:

1) it's not monday
2) i made it through an exam this morning relatively unscathed
3) i don't have much homework tonight
4) i've already done most of the homework for tonight
5) i actually took a nap today, and even though it made me sleepier than before i took it, i'm still grateful that i actually got to take one.
6) i got to order pizza for dinner. thanks, em!

there was a little more action yesterday...last night, emily, sarah, and i went to whole foods for dinner. while we were there, the bottom fell out of the sky...torrential crazy rain! the kind with the big fat drops, when it's futile to try to stay dry because it's never gonna happen. luckily the three of us were sitting inside the cafe right by the window where it was nice and dry and we had a lovely view of the parking lot. sarah noticed that people were staring outside the window and not just at the rain, and we finally saw a brand new audi convertible with the top DOWN. the store made several announcements, and one of the whole foodies came through asking people if they owned the audi. the owner didn't show up until the storm had passed, though, and he looked like a cross between peeved and embarrassed. what could be done, though? he got in his car with the top still down and drove away. by this time and ENTIRE cafe was checking it all out, so as he drove by at least 25 people were staring at him. bet he'll never do that again.

happy tuesday-almost-wednesday!
