well there's no place like atlanta for the holidays...

i had a lovely time in atlanta with my sister and her family for the holidays. i got there last sunday, and then the rest of my family arrived on christmas eve. i spent a LOT of time baby-sitting olivia, and i LOVED every minute of it! unfortunately i did not bring a camera, but my dad did and sent us the pictures below. hope everyone had a merry christmas and is looking forward to a new year!

this is olivia. i might be biased, but i think she's incredibly cute. and she smiles pretty much all the time.

linda, olivia, and grace. reading is olivia's absolute favorite thing to do...although mainly she just likes turning the pages. the only two words she can say are "ball" and "dog," so if she sees either of them in a book, she always points them out.

grace got rollerblades for christmas, and she rollerbladed all the
way to the park and back (with a little help from her dad and her uncle).

at the park, grace kept her rollerblades on the whole time! she and olivia had a lot of fun together, and grace loooooves her cousin!

peter got a new scooter! but i don't think he
quite made it to the park and back on it...

of course my mom and dad ADORE olivia. and i think the feelings are mutual.

well that's just too cute for words...

my sister linda arranged to have a photographer take pictures of the grandkids on christmas day, and my dad took pictures of the whole adventure. we're pretty sure that however this one turns out, it'll be one of our favorites. olivia is hanging on tight!
