It's hard to capture the scale of a Giant Sequoia, but that's where we were Thursday. If you look at the middle photo, there are people at the base of the famed General Sherman tree...maybe that will help. Friday was spent entirely in the car driving through the Mojave Desert. The dashboard thermometer read 115 degrees at one point. We crossed over into Arizona and ended up at the western-most point of I-40. Only 2,554 miles to Wilmington!
Today we drive to the Grand Canyon! More photos to come.
