is it sad that i'm more excited about getting my 'i voted' sticker than the free starbucks coffee, ben & jerry's ice cream, or krispy kreme doughnuts? considering i've been waiting four years for today and only about 4 days for the others, it's not all that surprising.
anyway, i voted! and i smiled the whole time i was filling in little circles. i really did. and if you're reading this and you haven't voted yet, go vote! i don't care who you vote for (well, actually i do, but i won't express my opinions here. even though i really want to. but i won't...), just go out and vote!
so now it's just a rainy tuesday, my virus is gone but has left an annoying cough in its wake, and my to-do list is getting longer by the minute. as nice as it was to be in bed or on the couch for 4 days watching 4 seasons of 'friends' on dvd, it's good to be back to normal.
