today i am proud that...
1) i was able to whip up an excel spreadsheet at work in just a few minutes, and was consequently dubbed the "excel queen." then i silently thanked my father for the second time this week that he forced me to learn excel back in 1993 when i thought it was ridiculous and something i would never need.
2) my sink is completely void of dirty dishes once again at bedtime. this makes 5 days in a row. that might be a personal best.
3) i made it to work in durham before 8:30am.
and i'm grateful that...
1) i-40 was clear enough to allow me to get to work before 8:30am. traffic jams can really spoil a morning.
2) i had a delicious dinner with fun company, as well as the best dessert ever - tutti frutti.
3) the governor's school staff has not been using the parlor beside my bedroom as a hangout spot this year. i'm SUPER grateful for this!
tomorrow, i really hope that i can be grateful that my car passes inspection and my repair bill will be minuscule. one can dream.
