it's been a tough day...

i'm trying to remember the positives, i really am. here's what the self-talk in my head sounded like this morning:

negative nancy says, "my hard drive died on my computer today. i lost everything. EVERYthing."
positive polly says, "but you had apple care, and you don't have a pay one cent for a brand new hard drive!"

negative nancy says, "i had to say goodbye to collette for real today..."
positive polly says, "what a great excuse for a road trip to philadelphia!"

negative nancy says, "finally had to get a new battery for my car today..."
positive polly says, "it was still under warranty, and you didn't have to pay for that either!"

negative nancy says, "i'm really sad i don't get to go to class today..."
positive polly says, "but now you'll have so much more time to find an interior design-related job, get back into a swimming routine, get to know residents better, and try to keep yourself organized!"

so yes, it's been a rather emotional day. but it can only get better, right?
